Who are we?

The Center of Palliative Care – Hospice of Divine Mercy – offers special protection to people who are in their final stages of illness.

The Center is a project of the Caritas Federation of Timisoara Episcopacy which has a guidance role and control regarding the assurances of minimum obligatory standards scheduled in the actual legislation. Caritas Federation of Timisoara Episcopacy is an organisation without patrimonial purpose initiated by Roman-Catholic Episcopacy in 1993.

The main partner in this project is the Congregation of the Daughters of St. Francis of Assisi , founded by Anna Brunner in 1894 and it has been active on Romanian terrytory since 1902. It belongs to the third monastery Order of St. Francisc of Assisi. The sisters are involved in different missionary activities, especially in the medical area.
