To whom is this addressed?
The beneficiaries of palliative care services given in "Hospice of Divine Mercy" are patients with severe chronic and progressive illnesses, with uncontrollable symptoms and/or psychological-social and spiritual needs, who are at the last stage of life. Care is given without discrimination, regardless of their nationality, religion, sex or social level.
Patients will be given care when:
- medical treatments are no longer efficient
- their unable to be cared for by their family
- they do not have legal guardians
The priority is for the persons who are in the last stages of illness and experience unmanageable pain.

What are the offered services?
- accommodation, food, equipment and hygienic-sanitary conditions necessary for the
- care of the patient and his family
- symptomatic medical and nonmedical treatament
- permanent supervision of the patients' state of health
- medical assistance
- psychological-spiritual counselling
- a garden for patients and their families for relaxation and prayer.
Who provides palliative services?
Caring services are given by a multidisciplinary team, made up of: - specialised doctors in palliative trauma
- family doctors
- pshychiatrist
- psychologist
- social worker
- nurses
- priests and spiritual directors
- volunteers
The patients will receive 24 hour care.
